Roy Sakuma Ukulele Studios are conveniently located in Kaimuki, Aiea, Mililani, and Kaneohe on the island of Oahu. Celebrating 50 years of ukulele joy, Roy Sakuma, the pied piper of the ukulele and his wife Kathy have dedicated their life’s work to preserving interest in the ukulele and spreading the joy of the ukulele. Instructors of Roy Sakuma Ukulele Studios are all former students –some who have been with them since they were 5 years old. Roy and Kathy Sakuma are the founders of Ukulele Festival Hawaii, a nonprofit organization bringing laughter, love and hope to children and adults of Hawaii and the world through the music of the ukulele.
